Ways to get a seat the same evening
| Way | What we know | Worth knowing |
|---|---|---|
| Theatre box office | Many venues put seats back on sale on the day | Go in the afternoon |
| Discount sites | BilletReduc, Fnac Spectacles and Ticketac are named by a guide for last-minute offers | Compare with the box-office price |
| Opéra Garnier | A tourism-office guide names sixth-category seats at 10 EUR on the day, box office open from 11:30 | Restricted view, to confirm on the site |
| Youth and senior rates | Depending on the venue, under-28s, over-65s and job seekers get last-minute seats at a preferential rate | ID or proof asked |
| Shows every night | The Moulin Rouge plays Féerie at 9pm and 11pm | Book ahead, seats go |
One guide gives markers: 10 to 30 EUR last-minute or student, 40 to 80 EUR standard, 100 EUR and more for the best seats. These are orders of magnitude, not rates.
Moulin Rouge: what the official site says
Féerie is performed daily at 9pm and 11pm; the dinner show starts around 7pm (doors at 6:45pm). Doors close 10 minutes before the start and latecomers may be refused. Smart casual is required: no shorts, flip-flops, sportswear or open shoes. Minors aged 6 and over are admitted with an adult, and the revue includes nudity. Box office: 82 boulevard de Clichy or reservations.moulinrouge.fr. To compare, see the Moulin Rouge with champagne and our guide to cabaret: Moulin Rouge, Lido, Crazy Horse.
