Paris Book Festival (Festival du Livre de Paris): 2027 dates, tickets and programme at the Grand Palais
The Festival du Livre de Paris (Paris Book Festival) brings publishers, authors and readers together each spring under the glass roof of the Grand Palais, in the 8th arrondissement. The next edition is announced for 16 to 18 April 2027; the latest, from 17 to 19 April 2026 on the theme of travel, welcomed 121,000 visitors. In 2026, entry required booking a ticket online.

Talks and book signings
In 2026, nearly 400 talks took place on 12 stages, and 1,800 authors took part in 3,000 signing sessions. All genres were represented: literature, comics, children's books, romance, crime, fantasy and the humanities.

Comics and children's books
The 2026 edition devoted 400 m2 to comics, with two exhibitions, and an enlarged children's village. The 2027 programme has not been published yet.

A culinary evening
New in 2026, the Friday evening session mixed flavours and stories from around the world, alongside the Grande dictée and the Cabaret Extra! from the Centre Pompidou. These events are not confirmed for 2027.

Book your ticket through the festival's official ticket office; 2027 prices have not been published yet. In 2026, entry was free for under-12s (accompanied), and, with proof collected on site and subject to availability, for booksellers, teachers, librarians and visitors with reduced mobility; authors got a free day pass with a URSSAF certificate. To extend your visit, go to the Petit Palais, across the avenue.

The festival is held at the Grand Palais, 17 avenue du Général-Eisenhower, 75008 Paris. The nearest metro stations are Champs-Élysées–Clemenceau (lines 1 and 13) and Franklin D. Roosevelt (lines 1 and 9).
