The SEA LIFE Paris Val d'Europe aquarium, inside the Val d'Europe shopping centre in Serris (Seine-et-Marne), generally opens from 10am to 7pm with last entry one hour before closing; it is a one-minute walk from the RER A station Val d'Europe, one stop before Disneyland. According to a recent source, the ticket costs €23 for an adult (aged 12 and over) and €19 for a child aged 3 to 11, free under 3; on Tiqets, entry starts around €20, with a rating of 4.2 out of 5 from over 400 reviews. You see sharks, turtles, seahorses, penguins, octopus and stingrays, in themed zones: Tropics, French coast, the big ocean tank, Shark Island, Atlantis, Amazon River, Asia and Penguin Island. Children can touch starfish and rays in the touch pools.

Tips

  • Prices vary by source: €23 adult and €19 child (recent source), €24 and €19 (older tourist-board listing), from €20 on Tiqets. Check the day's rate. With a Tiqets ticket, leaving and coming back the same day is allowed, except during school holidays of zone C. Combined tickets exist with Parrot World, Disneyland Paris, the Paris zoo or the Lumigny reserve. The official site notes that the escalators are temporarily out of service: access is by the stairs, so tell staff if you come with a pushchair or need assistance.

How to get there
