Codes: the honest answer
- No code to give you: if a public code ever appears, it will be on this page.
- Coupon sites: they mostly list expired or invented codes.
- Automatic discount: any promotional price shows on the plan's page before payment.
Five real ways to pay less
- Your plan may be enough: a mobile plan from an EU country includes roaming in France at no extra cost. See our guide to eSIM or SIM card for Paris.
- Country or regional plan: for France alone, take the France plan; if you visit several European countries, a Europe plan avoids buying a new eSIM at each border.
- The right size: for GPS and social media, 1 to 2 GB a day is usually enough. No need to pay for a big allowance for three days.
- Airmoney: this is the credit of Airalo's loyalty programme, which gives back part of your purchases as reusable credit. Check the exact rate in the app.
- Top up: to extend a stay, add data to your existing eSIM rather than buy a new one, when the plan allows it.
Before you buy
- Compatible, unlocked phone: otherwise the eSIM will not install.
- Install before you leave: by QR code, in a few minutes, on Wi-Fi.
- Data only: these plans generally include no French phone number.
- Free Wi-Fi: for a very short stay, see free Wi-Fi in Paris.
