The comparison at a glance

A dinner cruise: what you really buy

A dinner cruise is first of all a dinner, with the Seine as a backdrop: on several listings, reviews remind you that it is a meal and not a commented tour, so there are no explanations of the monuments. For a commented cruise without a meal, see our guide to the Seine cruise. The route barely varies: the Eiffel Tower, the Musée d'Orsay, the Louvre, the Pont Alexandre III and Notre-Dame pass by from the boat. What changes is the length, the quality of the meal, the drinks and the boarding point.

Bateaux Parisiens, the reference dinner cruise

This is the best rated and most booked offer of the comparison: 4.7 out of 5 from about 8,900 reviews, from $112 to $130 on GetYourGuide depending on the readings. The boat leaves from the foot of the Eiffel Tower. The official Bateaux Parisiens site offers two sittings: about 1h15 at 6:15 pm and about 2h30 at 8:30 pm, with entry prices of €99 and €115 and pricier formulas with a window seat (seen in October 2026). The à la carte menu includes a starter, a main and a dessert, with vegetarian choices. For the 8:30 pm sitting, the official site asks for smart dress (no jeans, shorts, caps or sneakers). Compare the GetYourGuide price with the official site's before booking. See the offer.

Paris en Scène, the cheapest formula

A three-course dinner of about 1h45, the lowest price of the comparison, from about $73. The rating is 4.3 out of 5 from about 12,000 reviews, which makes it one of the most booked too. The boat boards at Port de Javel Haut, in the 15th arrondissement (another boarding point is sometimes mentioned depending on the option: check your confirmation) and passes the Eiffel Tower, the Pont Alexandre III, Orsay and Notre-Dame. Smoking is allowed on the terrace only. The offer is not suitable for people with reduced mobility. See the offer.

3-course gourmet dinner (Le Diamant Bleu)

A longer evening, about 2h30, from about $108: a choice of starter, main and dessert, with half a bottle of water for two included; other drinks cost extra and tipping is optional. Rated 4.1 out of 5, but from only 12 reviews: little track record. The address on the listing is 2 rue du Ranelagh; the listing also mentions hotel pickup, which you should check before counting on it. See the offer.

Champagne dinner with live music

A three-course dinner with a glass of champagne and a singer on board, from about $123. The rating is 4.4 out of 5, from 352 or 428 reviews depending on the version: two listings carry the same title, so check which one you are booking. On one of them, sailings are at 6:45 pm and 9:15 pm, from Port de Solférino, near the Musée d'Orsay. Some listings mention extras to pay on board (beef main, cheese, drinks package): read the "included" section before paying. It is not suitable for children under 3 or wheelchairs. See the offer.

Early dinner cruise with dessert (Bateaux Parisiens)

The short 75-minute formula: 4.6 out of 5 from 42 reviews, from about $89. The price includes aperitif, wine, water and coffee, with a choice of a central seat, a window seat or the front (champagne is offered at the front only). Cancellation is free up to 24 hours before and the listing mentions wheelchair access. Service starts right away, so arrive on time. One review notes that the pier is poorly signposted. See the offer.

Bistronomic dinner cruise

A dinner cruise with a bistronomic menu, from about €59, one of the lowest entry prices in the comparison. Rated 4.3 out of 5 from 6,065 reviews. We could not confirm the length, the boarding point or the drinks: check them on the listing. See the offer.

What is not included and the pitfalls

  • Drinks. They are included or not depending on the offer; Bateaux Parisiens includes aperitif, wine, water and coffee, Le Diamant Bleu only half a bottle of water for two.
  • Extras. A meat main, cheese, champagne or a window seat may cost more on site or at booking.
  • The boarding point. It changes from one offer to another (Eiffel Tower, Port de Javel Haut, Solférino): find it on your ticket.
  • The menu. The menus on the listings are samples and may change.
  • Dress. Smart dress is requested on board some evening sittings.
  • A short sitting goes fast. 75 minutes of cruise, dinner included: the meal starts as soon as you board.
  • Few reviews. Le Diamant Bleu (12 reviews) and the early offer (42 reviews) do not have the same track record as the others.

Which offer to choose?

  • First time, no fuss: Bateaux Parisiens, at the foot of the Eiffel Tower.
  • Tight budget: Paris en Scène, from about $73.
  • Couple or proposal: the champagne dinner with live music; see also Paris for couples.
  • Family with children: the early Bateaux Parisiens sitting, at 6:15 pm, which avoids a late evening.
  • A long evening: the 8:30 pm Bateaux Parisiens sitting or Le Diamant Bleu (2h30).
  • To keep the evening going: read Paris at night.

Booking at the best time

In high season, book several days ahead, especially for Saturday evening. In summer the early sitting takes place in daylight and sunset comes late: if you want the monuments lit up, choose the late sitting. Several listings allow free cancellation up to 24 hours before; check the cancellation terms before paying.
