What changes with the new venue
The foundation left boulevard Raspail in the 14th arrondissement for the Palais-Royal: the old addresses and hours in older guides are no longer valid. The new building, in the heart of the 1st arrondissement, is served by metro lines 1 and 7, several RER lines and buses 21 and 67.
Hours and days
Closed on Monday. Tuesday to Thursday, 11:00 to 19:00; Friday, 11:00 to 22:00; Saturday and Sunday, 11:00 to 19:00. On Saturday 31 October 2026, the foundation closes at 17:00 (last entry at 16:00). On Friday 6 November 2026, a late opening from 19:00 to 22:00 is free with a reservation.
Official ticket or Tiqets?
The official ticket is the simplest, and offers reduced rates. The Tiqets ticket helps you fix your day and slot in advance: it is non-refundable, so choose the date carefully. Both give access to the current exhibition.
Pairing the visit with the neighbourhood
The Palais-Royal and Buren's columns are a few steps away: see our Palais-Royal page and our Fondation Cartier page.
Which offer to choose
- One exhibition visit: the official ticket, or Tiqets to fix the day.
- Two foundations in one day: the combined ticket with Louis Vuitton, see Fondation Louis Vuitton: which ticket.
- In the evening: the Friday late opening, until 22:00.
- Rainy day: see Paris on a rainy day.
