Who is it for?
Evenings and bars. South Pigalle is a night district: cocktail bars, restaurants, concerts. Montmartre on foot. The Sacré-Cœur and rue des Martyrs are walkable. Trendy couples. Both hotels are design addresses. Rooms are small: check the size before booking.
Noise, safety, transport
The streets are lively late in the evening and at weekends; ask for a courtyard-facing room. The area is busy and alive; as everywhere in Paris, watch your bags. The Pigalle (lines 2 and 12) and Blanche (line 2) metro stations are close. See also our advice on safety in Paris at night.
Which hotel to choose?
- Restaurant on site and neighbourhood feel: the Grand Pigalle Hotel, with Frenchie Pigalle.
- Larger hotel, bar-restaurant on the ground floor: Le Pigalle.
- More quiet: look in Montmartre instead, with our guide where to stay in Montmartre.
