What is worth the detour
The collections of Africa, Asia, Oceania and the Americas, in a building wrapped in a garden. On Thursday the late opening until 10 pm eases the crowds; the garden closes later than the museum according to one ticket office (around 7:30 pm on weekdays, 10:15 pm on Thursday), to be checked. One source says under-26s living in the European Economic Area enter free: confirm on quaibranly.fr. Allow 2 hours (our estimate).
Tiqets or the desk?
Tiqets slots avoid the queue; they do not replace a free entry you are entitled to. After the visit, a Seine cruise leaves from the nearby Eiffel Tower (see the listing for the day's price).
