The tour at a glance

The programme

According to the booking page, the day starts with hotel pickup and croissants on the way to Sancerre. It continues with a tasting, a lesson on winemaking and a traditional lunch at a family-owned winery, then a visit to a second winery producing Pouilly-Fumé and Menetou-Salon, before the return to central Paris.

Good to know before booking

  • A long day: 12 hours, much of it on the road.
  • Alcohol: the format means nobody drives after the tastings.
  • Language: the guide speaks English only.
  • Days: departure days are not specified on the page; they appear at booking.
  • The return: drop-off is in central Paris, not at your hotel.
