Aquarium de Paris: Tickets, Opening Hours, Saturday Night Visit and Access
The Aquarium de Paris, beneath the Trocadéro gardens, costs €27.50 (€20.50 for ages 3 to 12) and opens every day from 9:30 to 19:00; metro Trocadéro or Iéna. Operated under the name Cinéaqua, it is one of the largest aquariums in Europe, a short walk from the Eiffel Tower. On several underground levels, it presents tanks devoted to French freshwater fish, tropical reefs, sharks and a particularly photogenic jellyfish room.
Highlights
The shark tank
A submerged tunnel lets visitors watch several shark species swimming overhead, one of the highlights of the visit.
The jellyfish room
A space bathed in coloured light, dedicated to several jellyfish species, very popular for photos.
The freshwater tanks
A look at French rivers and streams, in contrast with the tropical tanks.

Tips
- Booking a time slot online is strongly recommended, as capacity can be reached on some days; online bookings give discounts of up to 20%. On-site prices: €27.50 from age 13 (€24.50 reduced rate), €20.50 for children aged 3 to 12 (€18.50 reduced rate), free for under-3s. A night session takes place on Saturday evenings from 19:00 to 21:00 (last entry 20:00), drink included: €30.50 (€25.50 for children). After your visit, stroll through the Trocadéro gardens.
How to get there
Metro "Trocadéro" (lines 6 and 9) or "Iéna" (line 9). The entrance is at the Trocadéro gardens, on the Eiffel Tower side. Address: 5 avenue Albert de Mun, 75016 Paris.
