Folies Bergère Paris: history, 2026-2027 shows and tickets

Updated on October 26, 2026

The Folies Bergère, at 32 rue Richer (Paris 9th), is a 1,720-seat hall opened in 1869 and listed as a historic monument since 1990; today it stages concerts, comedians and musicals, with tickets from €19 to €130 depending on the show, according to ticket sellers. The theatre is famous for its Belle Époque and 1920s music-hall revues, and for Joséphine Baker, who danced her banana-belt number there in 1926. It also appears in Manet's "A Bar at the Folies-Bergère" (1882). Programme found for the 2026-2027 season: a tribute to France Gall and Michel Berger on 29 October 2026 (€29 to €69), the comedian Thomas Marty on 4 and 5 December 2026 (€20 to €49), a children's musical from 2 October 2026 to 17 January 2027 and another from 12 February to 7 March 2027 (€55 to €109). Dates and prices change: check the venue's website.

Édouard Manet painted this picture in 1882, with a barmaid in front of a mirror that reflects the hall. It shows the atmosphere of the place in the late 19th century; the work is held in London.
