The Institut Giacometti, at 5 rue Victor-Schœlcher (14th arrondissement), is devoted to the work of Alberto Giacometti (1901-1966) and stages temporary exhibitions. It is a short walk from Denfert-Rochereau, close to the entrance of the Paris Catacombs. The institute closes between exhibitions, so check the programme on the official website before you go.
Highlights

Exhibitions in dialogue
The exhibitions set Giacometti's work alongside other collections. In 2021, "Giacometti et l'Égypte antique" put his sculptures in dialogue with pieces from the Louvre.

Rooms with wood panelling
The rooms keep period wood panelling and tall windows. The photograph dates from the 2020 exhibition "L'Homme qui marche".
