Pavillon de l'Arsenal in Paris: opening hours, free entry and exhibitions
The Pavillon de l'Arsenal, Paris's architecture and urban planning centre (4th arrondissement), is free and open to all, Tuesday to Sunday from 11am to 7pm, with no booking needed. Allow 45 minutes to 1.5 hours depending on the exhibition. It tells the story of the city's past and future through temporary exhibitions and a large aerial map of Paris in the hall. It is an easy visit to add to a walk between Bastille and the Marais.
Highlights

A stone and glass façade
The pavilion stands on boulevard Morland. Its large glazed arch, topped with the name of the place, lets you see the exhibitions from the street.

The map of Paris in the hall
A vast aerial image of the city covers the ground-floor floor. Visitors walk over it to find their neighbourhood and understand how Paris has changed.

The architecture exhibitions
Under a big glass roof, models, plans and photographs present projects for Paris and its metropolitan area. The exhibitions change regularly; check the programme before you come.
