The comparison at a glance

What you are really buying

In every case you buy park entry, and sometimes a journey. The starting prices are quiet-day prices: a dated ticket costs clearly more on weekends and holidays. Our Disneyland Paris page says a 1-day / 1-park ticket bought at the gate costs 129 € per adult, so booking ahead is almost always cheaper. Tickets are named; bring ID.

1-day ticket, 1 or 2 parks

This is the reference offer: 4.6 out of 5 from 49,642 reviews, from 52 €. You choose one park or both when booking. With two parks, note that Disney Adventure World usually closes one to two hours earlier than Disneyland Park. Check on the listing whether the date is fixed at purchase.

2, 3 or 4-day ticket

The multi-day ticket costs from 146 € (4.6 out of 5, 4,990 reviews). It makes sense if you sleep on site or nearby: two parks, rides to repeat and a less tiring pace, especially with young children.

1-day flexible-date ticket

This undated ticket is bought on the official Disneyland Paris site, with no partner link here. It stays valid for one year, but you must book your date online; buying the ticket does not guarantee the date is available. On busy days that is a real risk: read Disneyland Paris full. Check the price and conditions on the official site.

Tickets with the RER A train

This option combines tickets and an RER A journey from Paris (about 45 minutes), dropping you at the park. Price seen: about $145. The tickets must be collected at the partner's agency: allow for that detour before the day. The RER A alone takes you to Marne-la-Vallée – Chessy for about 2.55 € a trip: see metro and RER in Paris.

Ticket with return coach from Paris

The coach ticket costs about $129, for a day of about 12 hours (about an hour on the coach each way). It is rated lower (4.2 out of 5, 155 reviews on the page consulted). Several reviews regret that the return coach leaves early, before the night show: check the exact time.

What is not included and the traps

  • Meals and drinks: budget extra.
  • Disney Premier Access: fast access to rides is not included. A version with Premier Access exists on GetYourGuide (seen at about $227, with very few reviews): we did not compare it.
  • Date and crowds: an undated or flexible-date ticket does not guarantee entry on full days.
  • Return times: coach packages have a fixed return time.
  • Price: very variable by date; the amounts here are starting points.

Which offer to choose?

  • First visit, one day: the 1-day ticket, 1 or 2 parks.
  • Family, several days: the 2/3/4-day ticket; see also Paris with kids.
  • Dates not fixed: the flexible-date ticket, accepting the risk of a full date.
  • No wish to handle the journey: return coach or RER A with tickets.
  • Tight budget: the ticket alone and the RER A on your own.

Booking at the best time

Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays outside school holidays are generally cheaper and quieter. Book early for the All Saints and Christmas holidays.
