The official ticket

The ticket desks close about 45 minutes before closing time. Under-18s enter free; some listings add under-26s living in the European Union, to check on guimet.fr. Prices found range from 11.50 € to 15 € depending on the page, because temporary exhibitions change the ticket: read what yours includes. Allow 2 hours for the collections of India, Cambodia, China and Japan, plus a detour to the garden of the Buddhist Pantheon, an annex of the museum.

Tiqets or the desk?

The Tiqets ticket is handy to fix a weekend visit without queuing; it does not replace a reduced or free rate you are entitled to. The museum is a short walk from the Trocadéro: for a full day, pair it with a climb up the Eiffel Tower (see the listing for the day's price).
