The Marais hotels at a glance

Nightly prices were not read hotel by hotel: they change daily and only appear once you enter dates. The table therefore gives the official star rating and a price range; only the Herse d'Or rate, already published on this site, is given as a figure. Check the exact price for your dates on the hotel's page.

Which hotel for your profile
First visit. The Herse d'Or or the Jeanne d'Arc: one sits on the Bastille–Hôtel de Ville axis, the other on a quiet street next to the place des Vosges, and both stay below 4 stars.
As a couple. The Petit Moulin and the Bourg Tibourg have the most character (décor by Lacroix and Garcia); the Pavillon de la Reine suits a special occasion.
Tight budget. The Herse d'Or, from about €90; for less, look at Nation or Bastille, covered in where to stay in Paris on a budget.
With children. Rooms in the area are compact: prefer an aparthotel (see hotel or aparthotel in Paris) or read where to stay in Paris with family.
