Comparing prices
- Look at the price per litre or per 100 ml.
- Compare 2 or 3 pharmacies and the same chain's online parapharmacy.
- Beware tourist prices shown with no comparison.
The tax refund
It is for residents outside the EU, over 100 euros in one shop, with a form validated before leaving the EU: read tax refund in Paris. Ask the pharmacy whether it offers the refund and check on the customs site that what you buy qualifies (we did not find the exclusion list).
Suitcase and plane
In the cabin, liquids are limited to 100 ml per container: pack large sizes in the hold (general rule, check with your airline).
Round off the day

Frequently asked questions
Is the pharmacy cheaper than department stores? Not necessarily: compare.
