Le Bon Marché Paris: Hours 2026, Sunday, Holidays, Tax Refund
Le Bon Marché, the oldest department store in Paris, on Rue de Sèvres (7th), is open every day, right next to La Grande Épicerie, its famous gourmet food hall. Hours are 10am-7:45pm Monday to Saturday and 11am-7:45pm on Sunday; entry is free. Founded in 1838 and transformed from 1852 onward by Aristide and Marguerite Boucicaut, it invented the department store model: fixed prices shown on price tags and low margins. La Grande Épicerie
In Le Bon Marché's second building, at 38 Rue de Sèvres, La Grande Épicerie de Paris is open from 8:30am to 9pm Monday to Saturday and from 10am to 8pm on Sunday. Fine foods from around the world, a wine and spirits cellar, pastries and counters where you can eat on the spot: it's the ideal place for lunch or gourmet gifts.
The luxury boutiques
The most prestigious brands are very well represented in the store. The Christian Dior, Chanel, and Louis Vuitton boutiques welcome customers in the majestic setting of the Bon Marché Rive Gauche ground floor.
The women's shoe department
This section unveils 2,000 m² entirely devoted to the world of women's footwear. Hundreds of trendy models are on display in this department, located on the store's 2nd floor.
The beauty department
A must-visit, this is where your tour of Le Bon Marché truly begins, located on the ground floor beneath the balustrades and mezzanines.
The children's world
The 3rd floor is a space dedicated entirely to children. The store has organized the floor into several zones: bookshop, toys, children's fashion, and newborn essentials.
Lingerie
The "lingerie" section elegantly combines luxury and intimacy. This ultra-contemporary and ultra-feminine section is a feast for the eyes and for the art of seduction.

Tips
- Entry is free, Sundays included. For a full day, have lunch at one of the store's restaurants or at La Grande Épicerie de Paris, open from 8:30am on weekdays. Visitors who live outside the European Union can claim a tax refund (détaxe) on their purchases, under the legal conditions in force (a minimum amount spent on the same day). How to get there
The store is at 24 Rue de Sèvres, in the 7th arrondissement. Metro Sèvres-Babylone (lines 10 and 12): as you come out, the store faces the Square Boucicaut. Vaneau station (line 10) is also a few minutes' walk away.
