The Musée d'Ennery, a mansion at 59 avenue Foch (16th arrondissement), is one of the three sites of the Musée national des arts asiatiques – Guimet. It closed for renovation on 21 December 2025 and the Guimet museum's website announces no reopening date. It houses Clémence d'Ennery's collection of Chinese and Japanese art, bequeathed to the State and opened to the public in 1908.
Highlights

A collection left as it was
The objects are still displayed as Clémence d'Ennery arranged them, in her private apartments, on furniture and in display cases inlaid with mother-of-pearl. The museum is closed for now.

Chimeras, porcelain and netsuke
At the time of the bequest the collection numbered nearly 8,000 works, including 2,500 netsuke, along with chimeras, masks and fantastic creatures in bronze, jade, ivory or ceramic.

The mansion on avenue Foch
The mansion was built from 1875 on what was then avenue du Bois-de-Boulogne, now avenue Foch, to house and display this collection. It has remained free of additions or changes since the bequest.
