National Museum of the History of Immigration: tickets, hours and exhibition
The National Museum of the History of Immigration is housed in the Palais de la Porte Dorée, at 293 avenue Daumesnil (12th arrondissement). Its permanent display, "La France et ses migrations", shows how migration has shaped French society from the 17th century to today, through archives, posters, personal belongings and contemporary art. From 30 October 2026 the exhibition "Une histoire du cinéma français – Héritages maghrébins" joins it. The 1931 Art Deco building is covered in our guide to the Palais de la Porte Dorée.
