Parc zoologique de Paris (Vincennes Zoo): hours, prices and access
The Parc zoologique de Paris, better known as the Vincennes Zoo, is run by the Muséum national d'histoire naturelle in the 12th arrondissement, at the corner of avenue Daumesnil and route de la Ceinture du Lac. It covers 14 hectares and presents more than 3,000 animals from 272 species in recreated landscapes, grouped into biozones. Highlights

The Grand Rocher
This 65-metre-high artificial rock is the symbol of the park and can be seen from afar, well beyond the Bois de Vincennes.

The giraffes of the Sahel-Sudan biozone
This zone recreates a semi-desert savannah landscape, with lions and giraffes among others.

The lemurs of the Madagascar biozone
Devoted to the wildlife of the great island, this zone presents species found in no other Paris park.

Tips
Prices checked in October 2026: €22 for ages 13 and over, €17 for ages 3 to 12, free for under-3s (ticket required); the Tribu pack costs €68 for 2 adults and 2 children aged 3 to 12. Entry is also free for people with disabilities and their companion; other conditional free entries are detailed on the official website. Book tickets online, especially at weekends and during school holidays.

Corner of avenue Daumesnil and route de la Ceinture du Lac, 75012 Paris. Metro Porte Dorée (line 8), about a 10-minute walk; tram T3a (Porte Dorée stop); buses 46, 86, 201 and 325.
