A few streets from the Louvre, in the first arrondissement, the Musée en Herbe presents art exhibitions designed for visitors “aged 3 to 103”. Founded in 1975, it guides children through each exhibition with observation and imagination games. Until 18 April 2027, the exhibition “Admirez-les tous !” celebrates 30 years of Pokémon with a treasure hunt, rare cards and collectors’ items. It also links the characters with Japanese folklore and with works by contemporary artists.

The entrance on rue de l’Arbre-Sec
The museum opens onto the street through a white façade bearing its name and the words “de 3 à 103 ans”. A self-guided visit of the exhibition takes about 45 minutes to 1 hour. Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
The Croix-du-Trahoir fountain
Walk up the street to the corner of rue Saint-Honoré to see this fountain, rebuilt by the architect Soufflot in 1775 and 1776. Water flows from a carved mask, and a nymph sculpted by Louis-Simon Boizot decorates the side facing rue Saint-Honoré.

Tips
Tickets must be booked online in advance. The exhibition costs €8 from age 3, €7 at the reduced rate and €3 for 18 to 25-year-olds and students; it is free for under-3s (prices checked in September 2026). Pushchairs are not allowed: bring a baby carrier, or borrow one from the museum. Paid workshops for children aged 2 and a half to 12 extend the visit.
