Paris La Défense Arena: Concerts, Rugby, Capacity, Metro and Tips for Your Evening
Paris La Défense Arena, in Nanterre (92) at the foot of the La Défense business district, is Europe's largest indoor arena: about 30,000 seats for sport and, depending on the source, 40,000 to 45,000 for a standing concert. It hosts major stars' concerts and, until the end of 2026, Racing 92 matches; the club is due to move to Colombes in 2027 and would only return for gala matches. You can reach it by metro 1, RER A, tram T2 or Transilien L and U.

Tips
- Buy only from the show's official ticket office or the event's official resale platform, not from street sellers. For a Racing 92 match, tickets are sold online or at the box office. After a concert, the exit takes 30 to 45 minutes to empty: wait a little or walk to another station, such as Nanterre-Préfecture (RER A), rather than crowd into La Défense. The last metros and RER leave after midnight depending on the line; check them with our guide to the metro and RER. The district is covered in our complete guide to La Défense.
