Villa Savoye in Poissy: opening hours, tickets, prices and how to get there from Paris
Villa Savoye, Le Corbusier's masterpiece in Poissy, 25 km from Paris, is open Tuesday to Sunday (closed Mondays); a ticket costs €9 (prices checked in October 2026), admission is free for EU visitors under 26, and tickets can be bought online through the Monuments nationaux ticket office. Allow about an hour on site, plus travel time. This white country house, completed in 1931 for the Savoye family, is one of the symbols of modern architecture and is among the Le Corbusier works inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2016.
Highlights

A villa on stilts
The villa applies Le Corbusier's "five points of modern architecture": pilotis, a roof terrace, a free plan, a free façade and a ribbon window. Its white volume seems to float above the garden. Inside, a ramp links the levels up to the roof terrace.

The bathroom
Pale tiles, a sunken bath and a wavy masonry chaise longue: this room shows how closely Le Corbusier considered every detail of the house, from the furniture to the fittings.

Modern furniture
The LC4 chaise longue, designed in 1928 with Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand, remains one of the most famous pieces of the modern movement. Large windows let in the light of the garden.
