Disneyland Paris weather, month by month

Source: Météo-France, 1991-2020 normals at Paris-Montsouris, rounded. Events change from year to year: only the 2026 Halloween and Christmas dates are announced here. For crowds and days to avoid, read Disneyland Paris full: how not to be turned away.

Which month to choose

  • Few people and low prices: January and early March, on weekdays. This is also when dated tickets are cheapest: see fixed or flexible date.
  • Mild weather and long days: May (outside bridge days), June and September. Long evenings add park time after sunset.
  • Seasonal atmosphere: late September to early November for Halloween, November to early January for Christmas; see Christmas at Disneyland Paris.
  • To avoid if you fear crowds: July, August, French school holidays and holiday weekends.

What to pack

Sleeping Beauty Castle, Disneyland Park

  • November to March: warm coat, hat, gloves, waterproof shoes. The park is very open: the wind feels colder than the thermometer says.
  • April to June and September: a light jacket or sweater, a thin rain jacket that fits in a bag, comfortable walking shoes.
  • July and August: hat or cap, sunscreen, sunglasses, a water bottle. Shade is rare on Main Street, U.S.A. and in Frontierland.
  • All year: a light poncho (water rides get you wet), a power bank for the official app (wait times, hours) and shoes you have already broken in: you walk a lot in the two parks.

Rides closed in extreme heat, rain or wind

The park does not publish a detailed weather rule ride by ride; the status of the day is shown in the official app and on the park's website.

  • Extreme heat: during the heatwave of late June 2026, with a red alert in Seine-et-Marne, the park closed about twenty outdoor rides on 23 June 2026, among them Big Thunder Mountain, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril, Autopia, Dumbo, Orbitron, Casey Jr, Cars Quatre Roues Rallye, RC Racer, Flying Carpets and Toy Soldiers Parachute Drop. Fireworks were removed from the evening shows by a prefectoral order. Indoor rides (such as Pirates of the Caribbean) stayed open.
  • Rain and wind: an outdoor ride can stop briefly during a storm or strong gusts, then reopen. We found no official list of wind or rain thresholds: do not count on a particular ride on a day of poor weather and check the app.
  • Shows: a show with fireworks, drones or fountains can be changed or cancelled depending on wind and rain; outdoor character meets can be cancelled without notice.

If the weather turns, do the indoor rides and the shops first and keep the outdoor ones for a break in the clouds. Change and refund rules depend on your ticket: read its conditions.

Booking when the weather is uncertain

A dated ticket can usually be changed or cancelled up to 3 days before the visit, but reliable forecasts only cover a few days. If your stay lasts several days, a 2-park or multi-day ticket lets you swap parks and days depending on the weather: compare them in Disneyland Paris tickets: which offer to choose?.
