The comparison at a glance

What you are really buying

A summit-only ticket costs about 36.70 € on the official site according to our guide to the Eiffel Tower (2026 price). Guided visits add a guide, a guaranteed slot and a meeting point: you pay for company, not for a faster way up to the view. If you simply want to go up, the Paris: Eiffel Tower Summit or Second Floor Access offers cheaper tickets without a guide; we do not compare them here. Cheaper visits, around $56 to $73, also exist: their "summit or 2nd floor" format needs you to confirm that the summit is really included, and reviews mention a wait on the 2nd floor.

Blue Fox Travel, the reference guided visit

The most booked in the comparison: 4.4 out of 5 from about 3,900 reviews, about 1 hour 30, from about $111. It includes access to the summit and the 1st and 2nd floors, with two security checks to pass. See the offer.

Memories France, direct access in a small group

The cheapest of our four, about $79, rated 4.6 out of 5 from about 556 reviews. 1 hour 30 in a small group, with access that skips the ticket-desk line. See the offer.

LivTours, six people at most

Two hours in a group of 6 at most, with a glass-cabin elevator, for about $147. It is rated 4.6 out of 5, but from only 27 reviews: little track record. The listing advises against it for people with a fear of heights and for wheelchair users. See the offer.

Semi-private visit of 10 people

The best rated: 4.9 out of 5, but from 62 reviews, about $164. Timed summit tickets are reserved, the visit lasts about 1 hour 30 and hotel pick-up and drop-off are included. See the offer.

What is not included and the pitfalls

  • The second wait. For the summit you change elevators on the 2nd floor: on some offers, reviews report a second line even with a reserved ticket.
  • Security checks. Allow for two checks; the stated length can vary with the queue.
  • The meeting point. It differs between offers and is not always at the foot of the tower: read the listing.
  • Vertigo. The summit is a high elevator ride; the glass-cabin offer is not for everyone.
  • Access. Accessibility is limited on some visits; confirm with the operator.
  • Limited tickets. Summit tickets sometimes sell out months ahead: book early.
  • Prices. They vary by date and from one snapshot to the next.

Which offer to choose?

  • First visit, with a guide: Blue Fox Travel, the most booked and the most classic.
  • Mid budget: Memories France, around $79.
  • Couple or friends: LivTours' group of 6, as long as you are fine with heights.
  • Family or comfort: the semi-private visit of 10, with hotel pick-up. See also Paris with kids.
  • For the night: Paris at night, or the one-hour Seine cruise from the foot of the tower.

Booking at the right time

Book the summit well ahead in high season. Pick a slot by the light you want: late afternoon for sunset, after dark for the illuminations. For more tips, read booking ahead in Paris and our guide to free views of Paris.
