Maison de Balzac

On the slopes of Passy, the Maison de Balzac preserves the apartment where the novelist lived from 1840 to 1847. He worked here on La Comédie humaine, whose editions, characters and development are explored in the museum. His study and personal objects bring his daily life into focus. A garden accompanies this literary visit in the sixteenth arrondissement.
