Near the church of Saint-Sulpice, Mundolingua is a small museum devoted to languages, language and linguistics. Opened in 2013 on rue Servandoni, it covers some 170 m² on how languages are learned, their diversity and the technologies that process them. Videos, soundtracks and games make the visit interactive. The Luxembourg Garden is a few minutes’ walk away.

A visit over three levels
The ground floor deals with language and how it is learned. The staircase, called the “Tower of Babel”, leads to a micro-cinema. The basement presents the world’s languages, word games, new technologies and linguistics.
Rue Servandoni
This cobbled street runs from rue Palatine, behind the church of Saint-Sulpice, to rue de Vaugirard, near the Luxembourg Garden. At number 15, a plaque recalls that Condorcet hid here during the Revolution.

Tips
A ticket costs €10, €8 at the reduced rate (students up to 25, over-65s, jobseekers, holders of a disability card, with proof) and €7 for children aged 4 to 12 (prices checked in September 2026). Headphones are lent so you can follow the videos and soundtracks. On Thursday and Friday, the museum opens by appointment only.
