Musée Yves Saint Laurent Paris: Closed for Works, Reopening in Autumn 2027
The Musée Yves Saint Laurent Paris stands at 5 avenue Marceau, in the 16th arrondissement, where the designer ran his couture house. It showed creations from the house and exhibitions devoted to Yves Saint Laurent's work. After seven years of operation, nearly one million visitors and more than 2,000 creations displayed, it has closed temporarily for works; it is due to reopen in autumn 2027.
Highlights

A building on avenue Marceau
This cut-stone building housed Yves Saint Laurent's couture house; the museum was set up there to show his work in the very place where it was created.

The Mondrian dress
In his autumn 1965 collection, the designer paid tribute to the Dutch painter Piet Mondrian with dresses made of flat blocks of primary colours separated by black lines. They are among his best-known designs.
