Palais de Tokyo: Tickets, Opening Hours, Thursday Late Opening and Access
The Palais de Tokyo is a contemporary art center open from noon to 10pm (midnight on Thursdays), closed on Tuesdays; tickets €13, €9 reduced, free for under-18s. Built for the 1937 World's Fair, it is today the largest contemporary art center in Europe. Unlike a classic museum, it has no permanent collection: its program changes continuously, with temporary exhibitions, performances and often immersive installations. It faces the Musée d'Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris, housed in the neighboring wing of the same building.

- The Palais de Tokyo is one of the few Paris museums open late at night: from noon to 10pm, until midnight on Thursdays, closed on Tuesdays as well as on January 1, May 1 and December 25. A ticket costs €13 (€9 reduced); admission is free for under-18s, job seekers, recipients of minimum social benefits and people with disabilities and their companion (with proof). Buying your ticket online avoids the queue: see our tips on booking in advance. Bags larger than 55 x 35 x 20 cm are not allowed in the galleries. In the neighbouring wing of the same building, the Musée d'Art Moderne de Paris can be combined with this visit.
How to get there
The Palais de Tokyo is at 13 avenue du Président-Wilson, 75116 Paris. Metro "Iéna" or "Alma-Marceau" (line 9). RER C, "Pont de l'Alma" stop. Buses 32, 42, 63, 72, 80 and 92.
