Nuit Blanche Paris: 2026 held 6 June, next date, hours and free programme

Nuit Blanche is a free night of contemporary art held every year by the City of Paris on a Saturday in early June, from early evening until the small hours: installations, concerts and performances take over streets, monuments and museums. The latest edition, the 25th, took place on Saturday 6 June 2026; the date of the 2027 edition has not yet been announced by the City of Paris. Created in 2002 and long held in early October, Nuit Blanche has taken place in June since 2023. Each edition hands artistic direction to a guest figure: in 2026, DJ Barbara Butch built it around the theme of love, with a poster by Pierre et Gilles. The program also extends to towns across the Métropole du Grand Paris.

Date, hours and free entry

Since the move to June, Nuit Blanche has been held on 3 June 2023, 1 June 2024, 7 June 2025 and 6 June 2026. The 2027 date will be published on the City of Paris website. The artworks can be seen from early evening until the small hours, with each venue setting its own hours, listed in the program. Everything on the program is free.

Installations in public space

Light, sound or monumental works are set up in streets, squares and gardens along a route whose map the City of Paris publishes a few weeks before the event.

Venues open at night

Museums, monuments and unusual places open their doors for the night: the Piscine Pailleron (19th arrondissement) once hosted light installations above its pool, and in 2026 the Institut de France put on a free concert from 9pm to 1:30am.

Concerts, DJ sets and performances

Music plays a big part in the program alongside exhibitions and performances: the 2026 edition, curated by a DJ, turned the dance floor into a meeting place.

The program across Greater Paris

Nuit Blanche reaches beyond the ring road: in 2026, 55 cultural organizations from 32 towns of the Métropole du Grand Paris offered more than 100 free events, including 13 concerts and DJ sets and more than 21 exhibitions, and Vélib' bikes were free from Saturday 6pm to Sunday 8am with a Métropole code.
