Jardin des serres d'Auteuil: free tropical greenhouses next to Roland-Garros
The Jardin des Serres d'Auteuil, at 3 avenue de la Porte-d'Auteuil (16th), is a botanical garden run by the City of Paris. It combines a French-style garden, greenhouses from the late 19th century and collections of tropical plants, with a palmarium, a Japanese garden and a Mediterranean area. Entry is free. The garden adjoins the Roland-Garros stadium, and the Bois de Boulogne is very close.
Highlights

The palmarium and the French garden
The garden is organised around a classical garden and a palmarium, a large greenhouse devoted to palms and tropical plants.

The greenhouses
The historic and contemporary greenhouses shelter collections of tropical plants. They close an hour earlier than the garden.

The succulent plants
The greenhouses also show succulents and cacti, best discovered without hurrying.
