La Vallée Village: getting there and opening hours
La Vallée Village (Serris, east of Paris) is open from 10:00 to 20:00 according to the official Shopping Express page, read on 3 November 2026. The village runs its own coach, the Shopping Express, from the Pullman Paris Bercy hotel (1 rue de Libourne, 75012): departure at 09:00, return from the village at 14:30 for the half-day trip or at 18:45 for the full day. Booking is online, up to 2 hours before departure, and no ticket is sold on board. Tax refund for non-EU visitors
France: you must live outside the European Union. You must also be at least 16 and be staying in France for less than six months. Purchases from the same store on the same day must exceed €100 including taxes. The goods must leave the EU within three months. When you leave the EU, customs validates the paperwork (PABLO kiosk, before you check in your luggage). The refund is paid by the shop or its agent, never by customs; fees may apply. Avoiding the crowds
A few habits that work everywhere: - Shop early on Friday morning or on a weekday: Saturday afternoon is usually the busiest time. - Keep your passport with you: the tax refund and some discounts require ID. - Note an item's price a week earlier: a crossed-out price is not always a real cut. - Read the return policy and the exclusions, and leave room (and weight) in your suitcase.
