What you are really buying
Both tickets open the same museum, between the Tuileries garden and place de la Concorde. On the programme: the Water Lilies in their two oval rooms, the Walter-Guillaume collection downstairs, and the exhibition "Monet, peindre le temps" (30 September 2026 to 25 January 2027). Our Orangerie Museum page gives access (Concorde metro, lines 1, 8 and 12).
Official ticket
The reference price, and the only route to reduced rates. On the first Sunday of the month, booking an online slot is compulsory even though entry is free. See also the free museums in Paris.
GetYourGuide ticket
From €13.50 (seen in October 2026), slightly above the official price: you are paying for the convenience of booking from the same account as your other activities. Check the fare category before paying. See the offer.
What about a guided tour?
Small-group guided tours exist at other resellers, around £115 to £118 per person (seen outside GetYourGuide, whose listings we could not read). They suit those who want to understand Monet and the collection; for a free visit, a phone audio guide costs far less.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to book? Yes, an online time slot avoids the queue, especially in high season.

How long should I allow? About an hour for the Water Lilies and the collection.
Which offer to choose?
- Budget, under 26, first Sunday of the month: official ticket or free entry.
- You book everything on GetYourGuide: the ticket from €13.50.
- A Monet day: pair it with the Musée d'Orsay (see Orsay: which ticket) or a trip to Giverny, then read in the footsteps of the Impressionists.
- Several museums: the Paris passes comparison.
