The essentials at a glance

The Disneyland Paris resort in Chessy

When World of Frozen opened

It opened on 29 March 2026, the same day the Walt Disney Studios Park was renamed Disney Adventure World. On opening day, the wait for Frozen Ever After reached about four hours, and access to the land itself was controlled by an entry queue. In mid-April 2026, the press reported that this entry queue had been lifted: you can come and go freely in Arendelle.

The rides and the show

  • Frozen Ever After: a boat ride of about 7 minutes with Audio-Animatronics scenes of Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, Sven, Olaf, the trolls and Marshmallow. It has two drops, the last one in the dark, and a fireworks finale. The ride has no minimum height; warn children aged 3 to 4 about the drops. You can get a little wet: the centre seats are drier. A Single Rider line exists. Transfer is required for wheelchair users, as there is no adapted boat.
  • A Celebration in Arendelle: a daytime show of about 15 minutes on the water, in Arendelle Bay, with three longships carrying Kristoff and Olaf, Anna and Elsa, then the people of Arendelle. It is performed several times a day; times are in the app. Arrive about 20 minutes early for a front spot.
  • A Royal Encounter: a meet with Anna and Elsa at Arendelle Castle, in the Portrait Gallery, via a virtual queue in the app, on the day of your visit only. Book as soon as the park opens. Oaken and Mossie, the baby troll, are also there, and Olaf appears as a walking animatronic robot.
  • Setting: a replica of Arendelle Castle and a 36-metre North Mountain that houses Elsa's Ice Palace.

Where to eat and shop

  • Nordic Crowns Tavern: counter-service food, with a menu of about €22 to €24 and a children's menu at €14, ordered at kiosks or by Click & Collect in the app. Come outside meal times or during the show, when the queue is shorter.
  • Arendelle Boutique: toys, plush, dolls and Scandinavian crafts.
  • Fjord View Shop: a shop where you find Rúna, an interactive baby troll.

Annual pass discounts do not apply to the Arendelle ranges for 12 months, and purchases are limited to 2 items from these ranges per transaction.

Avoiding the wait

The Disneyland Paris resort in Chessy

  • Come at opening and go to Frozen Ever After first, or come in the afternoon: the 90 to 120 minute waits before 1 pm fall to around an hour afterwards, according to the specialist press in April 2026.
  • Single Rider speeds things up if you accept riding apart from your group.
  • Premier Access One is bought per ride in the app, from about €15 to €19 per person depending on the date; Premier Access Ultimate (18 rides) starts at about €110. Guides recommend buying it only for Frozen Ever After.
  • Book the royal encounter as soon as the park opens: the virtual queue is only valid on the day.
  • Choose a quiet day: weekends, holidays and festive periods are busier. The parks showed full on 26 September and 3 October 2026; read Disneyland Paris full.

Which ticket to buy

World of Frozen is in Disney Adventure World: a 1-day / 1-park ticket for that park is enough, from about €52 per adult on quiet days, or a 2-park ticket from about €87 to €88 if you also want Disneyland Park. Tickets are dated or flexible; the dated ticket guarantees entry. Christmas in Arendelle

For the first time, Christmas comes to World of Frozen from 7 November 2026 to 6 January 2027, with a tree at the village entrance and Anna and Elsa in winter outfits. Everything is in Christmas at Disneyland Paris.
